With the District Writing Assessment rapidly approaching, we have been working on practicing our persuasive writing techniques. Not only do we have a graphic organizer that pretty much guarantees a "proficient" paper, but we have also been working on making sure we have effective examples and evidence.
On Monday, 2/25 students will be quizzed on the graphic organizer to make sure they remember all parts of the essay. Also, you need to come into class with your practice Writing Assessment (about changing the school day to a 10am to 5pm schedule) finished and ready to evaluate.
